Join us at Beaver Meadow Golf Course for a fun-filled day celebrating cross-country skiing. Whether you’re an experienced skier or trying the sport for the first time, there’s something for everyone:

1. Ski the Beav 5K Race: A low-pressure, community freestyle race perfect for all skill levels.
2. Learn-to-Ski Clinic: Free beginner lessons with equipment included.

Bring your family, lace up your boots, and experience the beauty of Concord’s local trails.

Event Highlights

5K Freestyle Race:

• Start Time: 9:30 AM
• Open to all ages and skill levels. Race at your own pace or challenge yourself against top skiers.

Learn-to-Ski Clinics:

• Morning Session: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
• Includes free equipment loans (limited availability; reserve in advance). Learn the basics of classic cross-country skiing, including climbing, navigating downhills, and gliding on flat terrain.

Ski Expo:

• Time: 10:30 AM – 2:45 PM
• Explore equipment, meet suppliers, and find the latest cross-country skiing gear.

Beaver Meadow Golf Course:
Located in Concord, NH, this picturesque course turns into a winter haven for cross-country skiing. Parking is available on-site, with registration at the main clubhouse.

Dining Options:
Warm up at Ace’s Restaurant & Bar, located inside the clubhouse, offering hot drinks and delicious food.

Accommodations:
Stay nearby at Holiday Inn Concord Downtown or Courtyard by Marriott Concord, both within minutes of the venue.

What to Wear:
Dress in layers to stay warm. Waterproof gloves, insulated pants, and thermal tops are highly recommended.

Event Schedule

• 8:15 AM: Registration and bib pickup opens.
• 9:30 AM: Citizens 5K Freestyle Race begins.
• 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Morning Learn-to-Ski Clinic.
• 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Afternoon Learn-to-Ski Clinic.
• 10:30 AM – 2:45 PM: Ski Expo open.
